--------------------------------------------------------------- Ballad of the Green Berets - 綠扁帽之歌是美國在60年代的一首愛國歌曲，作者羅賓·摩爾（Robin Moore）和巴利·沙勒（Barry Sadler）兩位就是綠扁帽特種部隊的成員，這首歌是寫於1965年，當時巴利·沙勒剛從越南負傷
1966年越戰已經漸漸不得美國民眾的支持，但是這首歌的歌詞充滿愛國情操，以及旋律以鄉村民謠方式表現，在當年美國Billboard Hot 100榜首長達5星期，同時超過9百萬張單曲和音樂專輯售出，並且得到1966年全美鄉村音樂排行榜冠軍。
1968年約翰偉恩主演的老片The Green Berets(綠扁帽部隊)，也採用這首歌作為電影主題曲。
