從網站資料看來,是專業級的戰鬥行軍(Gefechtsmarsch)競賽,但強度或許不是最強的。

Saalfelden, 9 September 2005 - 90 airborne and mountain rangers from eight nations met Friday for an international patrol march at the Infantry School in Saalfelden. Following 2002 and 2003, this was already the third such competition, which the training site for Austrian infantry soldiers organized.3 h, v8 B; n# [6 X% G" S! G0 ^

The other nations: Germany, France, Italy, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Japan and Austria. The only female soldier in the competition came from the French Air Force.- {* A4 D8 ?6 ]! W1 |/ h

However, overcoming the march route along the Saalach - at an altitude difference of 600 meters - was not all. In addition, ten stations also had to be passed, at which the soldiers had to give proof of their skillfulness, their courage and their knowledge.

The competition started already at 0630 hours at dawn with a live fire. To everyone's surprise, they had to hit not only with assault rifle and pistol. The soldiers were also required to fire a shotgun at moving targets, no easy exercise.

During the following march, the competitors crossed the Saalach three times. At first by boat, then on a shaky two-rope bridge and finally on a rope slide, which ended on the other bank in the torrents of the Saalach. The rappelling over a 60 meter tall cliff in the Strohwollner Gorge was for many of the participants a new experience.
