不過就我自己的認知，我不認為Meat Loaf是搖滾歌手
而是一個擁有自己專屬樂隊的流行歌歌手
不過他倒是出不少專輯就是

這裡面有些樂團我根本沒聽過
但是有一種可能
就是跟大盤帽學長一樣
聽過的歌曲卻不知就是某某團體唱的

今天介紹另一個老團體Styx
這首是他們早期很有名的歌曲
Styx - Too Much Time On My Hands


這首更不用說了
早年有聽西洋音樂的都知道
Styx - Babe


後來他們出了一首很有趣的冠軍歌曲
Styx - Mr. Roboto


Styx或許太老些
以致有人不知道這團體以及歌曲
但是Styx的主唱Dennis DeYoung單飛後出了幾首名曲
這樣大家就會更清楚知道Styx與Dennis DeYoung的關係了
Dennis DeYoung - Desert Moon(沙漠之月)
後段的吉他SOLO也是一絕


Dennis DeYoung唱的另外一首Call Me也不錯聽
但是一直照不到影片!

挖了這麼大的『坑』讓您跳，還好您沒跳下去，不然偶就罪過大囉

老實說以上我貼的這一大票樂團，可以說幾乎是冷門的樂團
而且有一半以上都只找所謂的獨立製片公司出片
甚至一張專輯只出個百張千張的數量
所以有很多人連聽都沒聽過
但是這些樂團的作品老實說，往往有驚為天人的佳作

以上面這串名單來說，個人認為最佳的樂團就屬　The Cure 與　Nirvana
The Cure(中譯：怪人合唱團)成立於１９７６年
這個時間剛好是所謂的新浪潮世代（Synthesizer合成音樂）興起的年代
也因此這個越團就順理成章成為當時代表的越團之一
而The Cure的主唱兼吉他手Robert Smith標準慘白而無血色，配上血紅的唇色之化妝
加上塑造出吉他與鍵盤交織而成的詭迷氣氛，以及哀怨低調的歌聲
至今依舊活躍在音樂舞台上的後龐克新浪潮元老

學生時期(1976年)的The Cure，原取名為The Easy Cure
在正式推出首張單曲「Killing An Arab」(1979年)前正式定名為The Cure
同一年，首張專輯“Three Imaginary Boys”發行，受到音樂雜誌的好評
不過有了較高名聲的卻是一首未收錄在專輯中的單曲「Boys Don’t Cry」

1986年的“Standing On The Beach”(CD版精選“Staring At The Sea”)是首度正式發行的精選集
也以這張精選集開始向美國市場進攻，這張作品的風格已經明顯朝搖滾流行主流的走向
如這首Just Like Heaven　就可以明顯感覺出曲風已經有明顯變化

偶認為80年代這首算是代表性的抒情搖滾歌曲之一

Missing you - John Waite

這首 Missing You 是 John Waite 1984年的作品，收錄在No Brakes 這張專輯
是The Babys前主唱John Waite的冠軍歌曲(1984.09.22)
1996年,Tina Turner翻唱這首歌, 收錄在她的專輯Wildest Dreams
1999年,Brooks and Dunn也錄製這首歌，收錄在Tight Rope專輯

John Waite 確實好歌
當年造成轟動
現在來聽依然很有味道

推薦另一首也是很有味道的歌曲
這個樂團作品不多
但是一首就可以名留千史
也算是奇蹟

一堆歌手爭相翻唱的歌曲...

The Outfield也是個短命樂團
歌曲作品也不多
名次也不特別突出
嚴格說
歌曲也不是很耐聽
而且調性都很類似
只是節奏輕快+主唱的特殊高音令人印象深刻

偏偏卻是個80年代的團體

柳童鞋您在說您自己嗎!?
因為倫家當年在高中時，在現在已經不見蛋的名嘴 - 苦x 的教誨之下
怎麼會去聽這種糜靡之音呢!?
不然偶怎麼不知道Tom Tom Club 在英美國家不怎麼紅
但是在台灣反而是因為張小燕的『拉拉伊拉拉』的綜藝一百的推波助燃之下
在當年台灣吹起一陣所謂New Wave 風潮


而且說老實話，當年在學校時都在瘋音響DIY，加上又是一個標準的傻蛋
所以根本沒有小馬子，老婆大人也是退伍後在台北工作時認識的
會認識老婆大人只能說是老天給的大禮物
讓偶在台鐵松山站給他撿到的，而這也是偶的初戀

學長們貼的曲子，真是精彩啊！

原來您也是五年級的高材生，學弟在此向您敬禮。我和您的大弟同年，我當初也是因位和我哥（五年一班）擠同一房，所以他聽什麼，我就跟著聽，當時我連個英文字母都不懂，就跟著哼曲調，我記得那時聽的有ABBA, LOBO, BEE GEES, Andy Gibb, Anne Murray, Olivia Newton John等等，後來上了大學，我就聽得比我哥多了，不過，有個這樣的哥哥真好，算是音樂的啟蒙者，連電影都是，小時候都是他帶我去電影院，我記得「美國舞男」也是他租錄影帶回家給我們看的，不過，有趣的是，我知道這部片，也知道"Call Me"，但我卻不知道這電影中有出現這首曲子，看看哪天電視重播，再來聽聽看。

"Leader of the Band"是我目前不用看譜與歌詞，唯一還能自彈自唱的曲子，其他則全忘了，連當初我每天必唱的拿手曲Don Mclean "Vincent"也要看譜與歌詞才會唱，哈哈，我老婆也是因為聽我唱Vincent被我騙來的，她偶爾會抱怨說我結婚後就不唱了。

還好我是先聽Meat Loaf 的歌，後來過了很久才看到他的人，驚嚇程度不至於太大。對了，您列的那些冷門樂團，我只聽過U2而已，您可聽得真深啊！
